Back to School

This week was the first week of school. It has been very exciting and chaotic at the same time. Alex started Kindergarten and loves his class so far. The thing he was excited for the most was riding the bus. He couldn't sleep the night before, because he told me he could meet so many new friends on the bus.

Nick started 1st grade and is already reading very well. His teacher has already told me how impressed she was about his reading skills. Of course as a mother, it's a relief that they are acutally ahead on something and not behind. Whew! Nick loves his new class and his new teacher. His favorite things this year is the playground. They got a new spiderman jungle gym and he says it is the coolest thing ever.

As you can tell in these pictures, Nick and Alex don't seem really happy and that is because it is so early in the morning. The bus comes at 6:15 am and that means we are up and at em by 5:00 am. Needless to say the boys are trying to stay awake in these pictures.

Beach Trip 2008

Every year we all go to Gulf Shores, Alabama with Cam's family over the 4th of July break. It's always fun to watch the kids play in the sand and try to get up the nerve to go into the water. Every year they seem to get a little braver.
Nick and Alex loved playing in the sand. They found that if you find a stick you can dig deep into the sand and find baby crabs. They had a blast. At night they would go down to the docks and find hermit crabs. We had buckets full sitting on the deck at the condo.

Brynlee loved the beach and swimming in the pool back at the condo.
She has no fear of the water, which makes me a nervous wreck.

Crazy Boys

THERE IS NEVER A DULL MOMENT IN OUR HOUSE WHEN THESE TWO COME AROUND.

Nick's Football

Nick has just started football again this season. This will be his 2nd year and he can hardly wait. He has been looking forward to this since last season. Nick had to try out this year to be on the Pee-Wee team and he made it as a starting linebacker starting tight-end. He is quite the athlete. We are so proud of him! He is #12. GO MOUNT JULIET BEARS!

Kissable

Brynlee was only 5 months old in these pictures, but they are my favorite and I wanted to share them with all of you.
