This week was the first week of school. It has been very exciting and chaotic at the same time. Alex started Kindergarten and loves his class so far. The thing he was excited for the most was riding the bus. He couldn't sleep the night before, because he told me he could meet so many new friends on the bus.
Nick started 1st grade and is already reading very well. His teacher has already told me how impressed she was about his reading skills. Of course as a mother, it's a relief that they are acutally ahead on something and not behind. Whew! Nick loves his new class and his new teacher. His favorite things this year is the playground. They got a new spiderman jungle gym and he says it is the coolest thing ever.
As you can tell in these pictures, Nick and Alex don't seem really happy and that is because it is so early in the morning. The bus comes at 6:15 am and that means we are up and at em by 5:00 am. Needless to say the boys are trying to stay awake in these pictures.

Oh my gosh! My little boys are growing up!! They looked so handsome!! But seriously 6:15 for the bus??!! That's rediculous!! Tell them I love and miss them tons!! I can't wait for the next time I get to see them!! AND Brynlee of course!! Gosh time really flies...
Glad I am not the only one with children back in school. Are you ready for the school year? Me neither!!
I thought our bus schedule was crazy, but you win that contest hands down. That is early for these little ones!! YIKES!
